How to Really Link in The Outcome Frame

The Outcome Frame is the most classic, top, number one, bread-and-butter essential frame. It’s like oak. It’s solid and reliable and very sleek and efficient. It’s smooth, too. It is the best frame for visualizing and experiencing how a future perception will feel with logistics already resolved. This is useful because often we get entangled, scared, and overwhelmed with resolving logistics.

Without the outcome frame, your life has little direction and you cannot plant anchors for achieving success.

Here’s an example of a successful outcome frame:

I want a girlfriend with a strong sexual appetite, a bit seductive, pure and clean eyes, a beautiful voice possibly an accent, and who has a naughty fun body. She should have a modicum of intelligence, and I will feel confident and have fun around her.

That is something we, NLP practitioners, call a successfully well-defined outcome frame! It has details and nuances and a sturdy, well-focused structure high-lighting the foundation points of this optimal fate.

The outcome frame is just a successful frame. It plants and roots in a well-formed result. It is much more specific than “I want a girlfriend”. With that monotone and uselessly ill-formed utterance, you will get nowhere because you don’t have details visualized. So “I want BLANK” with one word as BLANK doesn’t work. Take the time to fill in some details to your outcome as in the example above.

The outcome frame will be a valuable contraption in your toolset! Use it!
