know, in our last episode, we took a deep dive into why we sometimes act the fool, why we stumble and make choices that don't serve us well. Well, today, we're flipping the coin. We're going to explore the other side of that lesson and talk about ways to live better, to keep climbing higher, to keep pressing on the upward way.
Now, let's be honest, life's challenges are always going to
be there. Obstacles will either become the path that leads us to higher ground or they'll serve as distractions that
pull us away from our true purpose. The wonderful thing is, we get to decide which it's going to be. I suggest we start viewing our obstacles not as roadblocks, but as steppingstones on our journey of growth.
One of the key things I want to delve into today is
understanding the real value of you—yes, you. This isn't some abstract idea we toss around in a Bible class; this is personal, it's individual, it's about recognizing that you are incredibly valuable. As long as we think of ourselves as no good or not worthy, we'll never rise above that mindset. Remember, we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but here's the kicker: there's no sin you've committed that hasn't been done a billion times over. God isn't surprised by our shortcomings; He's seen it all before.
So, let's stop beating ourselves up for being human and
start embracing the fact that we're made in God's image. Think about that for a moment. God said, "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness." That means there's an intangible, immaterial part of us that reflects Him. When we truly grasp that, we begin to understand our immense value.
Today, we'll also discuss how both Jesus and Satan see our worth, so much so that they're both fighting for us. Imagine that! Two powerful forces vying for your soul
because you're that important. And if they see that value in us, shouldn't we see it in ourselves?
We'll talk about growing stronger in faith by stepping out
of our comfort zones, and even embracing rebuke when it helps us grow. It's not always easy, but it's necessary for
living a better life. We'll explore how to encourage one another, set good examples, and think ahead to the judgment we all face someday.
So, stick around as we unpack these ideas and more. Let's journey together toward living better, climbing higher, and fully embracing the incredible value God has placed within each of us.
