Alohaaa,
You are invited to Join GodsVillage where we come as we are and change as we go for, we are learning more about Jesus Christ and aiming to be more like Him
Today addressed How to Love: Family
*Still a little rocky with this one š®āšØ*
We use Bible characters such as Jonathan responding to his furious father Saul in the Book of 1 Sam and Esther responding to Mordecai in the Book of Esther Skills 101
Jonathan to Saul:
Jonathan (ch. 20:33-34): even being disrespected. Jonathan remains cool with his father. He showed godly behavior and followed godly discipline/ rules because Jonathan didnāt accept his father's actions/reaction. But still, stick to Saul. Though I'm also learning how to love. My reaction wouldāve been different. He didnāt take things personally, but instead, used them to warn his friend and even continued doing the job unlike most who would become petty/resentful or hold grudgesĀ
Didn't get even or give back the same attitudeĀ Ā
Was respectful and Remained calm when speaking with his father
held his fury within by moving away and staying in solitude by fastingĀ
Didn't take it so personally that he forgot his dutiesĀ
Esther to Mordecai:
EstherĀ
Accepted discipline, was humbled, and acted itĀ
Did Not become resentful but took guidance used her resources to helpĀ
Responded with love and understanding
Disclaimer I have not perfected any of these skills but I have come across lessons God has shown me
