The process of buying a house, finding a place to live your life, that’s stressful enough. But then you get through that process and you’re left with a house. A big, ideally empty, house. Then what? There’s so much space! So many walls! What goes where?! Our house sat like a blank canvas for several months before I knew I wanted it to be more inviting, more comfortable and a place of rest. So, I called in the professionals, i.e. my friend Amanda, and gave her a budget and like a fairy from Pottery Barn she came in, worked her magic and one day when I got home from work I walked into a home.
