How to make life more productive through Play w/ Gary Ware

Listen Later

SHEESH... In this episode of "Letting it all hang out", I'm joined by Gary Ware. Throughout the episode, we talk about everything from why the world is so serious right now & how we can start to loosen up; to what your brain is doing when it's in Play-Mode & how that makes us more adaptive, creative human beings.

Gary is an absolute joy to be around and is the Founder of Breakthrough Play. He's a Keynote Speaker and has nearly a decade of experience as a performer in improv theatre. He assists teams with unlocking creativity, confidence, and sparks collaboration with experiential methods proven to drive peak performance AKA - Play. After spending over a decade in the corporate world and originally pursuing improv to master public speaking, he quickly discovered that combining improv and play could be a powerful solution to achieve various business challenges. Naturally, he created workshops for his team and other executives in his network to deepen relationships and improve creativity!

Here's how you can be involved in today's episode...

Take the Play-Personality quiz

We all have an inner child that gets unleashed when we're playing. Active play develops important life skills, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving prowess. Take this quiz to see which of Dr. Stuart Brown's eight play-personality types fits you, and what can motivate you to play more.

My play-personality is The Kinesethete: I pursue play through movement, sports, and running around outside.

What's your play-personality? Let me know!
