I’m ashamed to say that while I thought I was watching shows in 4K quality as part of the Netflix Premium plan, turns out I’ve been watching it at a lower quality all along. This is due to restrictions that Netflix (and Amazon Prime Video) has set on desktop browsers. So if you’re someone who consumes Netflix on a browser, you’re probably affected by this restriction, but I can tell you how to get around it.
