HOW TO MAKE YOUR HOME ENERGY EFFICIENT

In today’s "Quick Tips" show, we will explain to you what you can do to make your home super energy efficient. Most of these efficiency modifications are super simple to do and most important, supper affordable.

1) LIGHTING: Change out "ALL" of your incandescent light bulbs - CFL's or LED's are the best approach, LED's are more expensive but worth the results.

2) TIMERS: We are "ALL" guilty of this, we have heard this before ... "Honey, did you leave the lights on again"?  Timers properly used in the inside or outside of your home can add up in additional savings.

3) OCCUPANCY SENSORS:  A great place to install occupancy sensors is your bathroom or garage.  How many times have you had to turn off the lights in the bathroom ot garage? ... Before my home was energy efficient, "LOTS".

4) :  CHECK YOUR DUCTING: Did you know if your home is over (10) years old it is quite possible that your AC / HEATING DECTING is disconnected from the main air supply ducts going to your AC / HEATING unit?
