A former rower, Scott was a board member and founder of Chicago Rowing Union (a non-profit rowing organization) and has participated in fundraising endurance events for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the American Liver Foundation. He’s lived in Evanston, Roscoe Village, Avondale and Lincoln Square, and currently resides with his husband in Edgewater in an 1899 Remodeled Victorian home.
Scott is a proud graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
