We measure our tv's, our square footage, and even our waist size. Everything seems more concrete when we can quantify it. However, the things that matter most in life are very hard to quantify. Can you measure how much you love your spouse? Can you measure how much saddness you feel that you haven't found a spouse? Can you measure that feeling of being seen, heard, or celebrated by your friends? You see, the things that we value the most are difficult to measure.
