Fear on a practical level is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. A "belief" is an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists.
You are fearful because you believe XYZ. Not because fear actually exists...
So what can we do about fear:
1) Tackle it one head at a time. Fear is a monster with a million heads. So what can we do? Tackle each head individual.
2) Starve it - Lock the monster away in the dungeon. Or in the tower. Gain control of your emotions. Avoid fueling the emotions that come from fear. When a thought comes in about the past or future, and you start to get that anxiety, push it out. It has no right to be there. Legitimately push it out.
3) Don't feed it - Every time we you tell ourselves we are not strong enough, not smart enough, not good enough… we feed the fear, and as a result, don’t have the confidence to go for your dream. Our own voices have a very good strategy to keep us down. It stops us from gaining the skill, the knowledge and exercising our talents to make dreams come true. So stop telling yourself what you're telling yourself.
