I'm telling you how you can package your Common Lisp application into a deb package for Ubuntu. However, this method is also suitable for some other types of Linux. First, I'll tell you a little about alien-works-delivery, and then about the linux-packaging system.

For example, we will build a deb package for Ubuntu with the cl-repl application (the link to it will be below). We will use linux-packaging for this.
