We serve a God who wants us to be hopeful. The power of hope allows us to endure through life to get to the good promises God has given us. The enemy does his best to rob us of hope. When we are walking around hopeless, we don't have the energy or drive to persevere. Without hope, depression, anxiety, self control, and all of the fruit of the flesh get ignited in our lives and we start living outside of the will of God.

Hope is not really a choice when we serve the Lord, it is a requirement.

But how do we find a way to hope again when everything in us tells us it's better to not get our hopes up and to live a life full of expecting misery and disappointment?
