As children, we often see things only from a surface level. We lack the life perspective that our parents possess, and this limited view can sometimes create a rift in our relationships. We may obey our parents, but how do we truly feel about them? Today, Pastor Bill reminds us that while obeying our parents is a commandment in the Bible, this obedience should stem from the influence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As parents, we can share God’s heart for obedience in a way that helps our kids want to follow God, too.
