How to Prevent Puppy Jumping on People

In this episode I explain what you need to do to stop your puppy from jumping on people. This is broken down into two parts: 1) puppy jumping own people out on a walk and 2) puppy jumping on people coming in the house.Two things to do right now to help stop the behavior are 1) stop reinforcing the jumping and 2) stop allowing the puppy to reverse the behavior by not putting it in a position to have access to the stimulus (people) when it’s over excited.
