I cannot believe I am saying these words…

DaJuan Johnson (yes, DaJuan Johnson from BOSCH, Greys Anatomy, and much more) stopped by the podcast today!

I have been a huge admirer of DaJuan and his work not only as a successful actor but as a heart centered and incredible Life Coach and teacher.

If you are new to DaJuan Johnson, here’s a little bit about him:

DaJuan Johnson is a working actor who gets it. Currently working on Amazon’s longest running drama, BOSCH. Which he's been on since the pilot episode! The show is getting ready to start it's 7th and final season! He's also recurred on Grey’s Anatomy where ABC put him up for a PrimteTime Emmy for his dynamic recurring performance.  He's also recurred and starred on numerous other popular TV shows as well as being the lead in the digital series that got nominated for a Daytime Emmy. DaJuan is also a certified life coach and his mission is to help actors uplevel their career with confidence by providing them with tangible, grounded mindset strategies from real life, current, experience as a veteran working actor. #Trainwithcoachesthatwork

I could have seriously talked to DaJuan for hours, but since this is a podcast and not a telethon, we kept it at a jam packed hour for you all. 

Here are just some of the major takeaways from this meaty episode:

1. Remember to always send the elevator back down
   
2. Find someone to coach you at the level of your goals
   
3. Process critical feedback through your business hat, not your self worth/high stakes emotional hat.
   
4. You are not responsible for your 1st thought, thats your primal instinct. But you are responsible for your 2nd, 3rd and so on.
   
5. Surround yourself with people who want you to raise your standards!
   
6. Motivation, positivity, etc., all those states wear off everyday unless you condition them everyday.
   
7. Name and put a visual to your inner critic. Bruce made a very special appearance in this episode.
   
8. And last but not least- You cannot be a secret and be a success
