Jenani Srijeyanthan is a neuroscientist that focuses primarily on political and neurobiological influences surrounding co-morbid substance abuse and PTSD in Atlanta. Her overall objective is to increase access to community-based resources and advance local-level policy reform, particularly to remove barriers that discourage domestic violence victims from seeking aid. Jenani interdisciplinary professional background and tenacious ability to manage and advance programs drives her personal goals to: gain more policy experience, continue to shape my advocacy skills, and become better prepared to one day seek a PhD in Social Policy.
Through Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), Samantha Macedo has the opportunity to build strong community partnerships and maintain ongoing collaborations with other service providers to ensure the high quality services for PADV clients. Additionally, she is responsible for the development, expansion and supervision of the Teen Dating Violence, Community Outreach, and Legal Advocacy Programs, focusing on increasing outreach to underserved communities, and expanding the prevention efforts of the organization.
