Repentance doesn’t force God’s hand to bring revival, but without repentance it is impossible for us to experience revival, individually OR corporately. Repentance is a whole-hearted turning away from our sin, turning back to God, and throwing ourselves upon his mercy. We can’t ask God for revival and expect God to move powerfully in this city without starting with our own need for revival.
