Many people have asked what I look at when you are reviewing movies.   I have said in previous videos I look in two separate ways:  #1 as a fan and #2 for personal entertainment value. 

Now everyone looks at my numerical ratings and they flip out because they think it is an indicator of the movie being bad (well it is a little) but the numbers actually mean something:

1 – Avoid this movie at all costs. This is a movie that will be given away as a gift from small children who can only purchase videos from the bargain bin or buried on a streaming service/becomes an HBO/SHO/MAX/STARZ main feature as soon as it leaves the theater.

2 – This Movie is a rental/Streaming choice only.  If you planned on seeing this in the theater don’t.  I can think of so many ways to spend even matinee prices.   You may be entertained but will regret it like leaving the club at 2 in the morning with what you thought was a 10 and you know the rest of the story…

3 – This movie is middle of the road. Not bad, not good, it’s like eating a meal and being hungry an hour later it was good but not good enough to completely satisfy you.

4 – We are getting pretty good.  This movie is perfect for a date night on the town you may even splurge for the more expensive theater because you want to impress and get good value for your money.  

5 – MUST SEE.  If your significant other doesn’t want to go treat him/her like Rose did Jack on the Titanic knowing damn well there was room on the floating wood but she pushed him down anyway (she pushed his head...look at it again)
