The Galatians didn’t abandon Scripture… they misinterpreted it. And that one mistake distorted the gospel. In Galatians 4:21–31, Paul shows that while the Law has its place, it cannot justify you, and those who try to earn their standing before God end up in bondage. The Holy Spirit illuminates Scripture, but only when we let the text speak for itself instead of making it echo what we already believe.
