Vickie Smith is the president and CEO of the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence. She spoke to Community Voices about an interaction with a young woman who inspired her to help others. She also shared signs to look for when interacting with someone who may be experiencing abuse, and how we can raise young people to bring an end to domestic violence.
