When Life is Too Hard
Life has a way of throwing us into seasons where the weight of it all feels unbearable. During these times, it's easy to feel lost, isolated, and overwhelmed. But even in the darkest valleys, you are not alone. God's Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees your pain, hears your cries, and holds every tear.
Hardship often tempts us to retreat, but it's in these moments that we must lean in—to God, to His promises, and to the hope He offers. Isaiah 41:10 encourages us, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
When life feels like too much, remember this: you don't have to carry it alone. Take your burdens to God in prayer. Let His peace and strength fill the empty, weary places in your heart. Surround yourself with others who will remind you of His goodness and faithfulness. With God, even the heaviest loads can be lightened, and you can take the next step forward in His strength.
