How to Release the Guilt of Prioritizing the Wrong Things

Feeling ashamed of allowing smaller things to become your priority can be hard.
It can make you feel like you're playing small which then shifts your focus on small things instead of the larger things.
Over time, this can keep you in your comfort zone and settle there. 
However there is hope. You must first realize that big things take more work and more effort to maintain. 
Start by:
-Scheduling a specific day to focus on the larger habit
-Write down what you want to accomplish in advance
-Give yourself time to think about what doing this task will mean for you
-Actively engage in it
These things will allow you to be proactive instead of reactive in order to clearly identify what you're working towards. This also allows you to have something tangible to come back to get you out of that feeling of being behind.
