Text: Acts 1:12-26

  1. What is your experience of being given (or accepting) a big responsibility/assignment? What did you do?
  2. What kinds of situations drive you to a time of intense prayer?
  3. Jesus’ mother and brothers were present. But they had formerly been unsupportive of his ministry. What do you think might have changed their view of Jesus and his mission?
  4. What is your experience of discouragement for your faith from members of your family? How do/did you respond?
  5. How do you respond to the way the initial believers sought to replace Judas?
  6. What might you do differently this coming week for considering this passage of Scripture?
