You're not alone if you've considered changing careers. According to a 2019 survey of 1,500 women conducted by workplace-equality platform InHerSight, 73 percent of women want to shake things up professionally, a figure that is up 28 percent from the previous year. Pay is the most commonly cited reason for seeking such a change (32%), but there are a number of other factors that contribute to women feeling ready to make a career change.
