U-Value …..for windows fall between 0.20 and 1.20. The lower the U-value, the better.
R-Value….. for windows R-5, but R-7 is more the standard. The higher the better
SHGC….. solar heat gain coefficient. On a scale from 0 to 1 good range of 0.40 to 0.60 during winter and below .40 in the summer.
VT…..Visible transmittance is expressed as a number between 0 and 1. The higher the VT, the more light is transmitted. Best VT values between 0.30 and 0.70.
AL…. Air Leakage ratings between 0.1 – 0.3. Lower is better.
CR…..Condensation Resistance a number between 1 and 100. Lower is better.
