The Republican Party we use to know no longer exists. It has been replaced with the Trump cult. The Trump cult has adopted cult-like techniques, for example, spreading the Big Lie about the 2020 election not being valid. They are using psychological warfare to promote conspiracy theories, lies, and promote fear and hatred within groups like parents, white supremacists, and radical church cults. 

To counter this type of campaigning the Democrat party has to adopt a war-like counterinsurgency campaign that will address all of the conspiracy theories and lies promoted by the Trump following. This requires understanding how cults work and operate. It requires party members to become more active in communicating the Democratic parties platform and participating in their counterinsurgency communication programs. 

The Democrats messaging has to be clear, logical, instill emotion and excitement, and appear credible enough to attract disenchanted Republicans and independents to the Democratic party for the 2022 and 2024 elections.
