Lots of people behind closed doors have talked about self regulation, some love the concept while others don't understand its benefits. With mandatory continuing education courses offered at major trade show events for all it's certainly a great way to drive up participation at trade shows while at the same time creating another revenue stream for our associations. Many industries that do this see positive results and participation from everyone. The greatest benefit of all, is that it tells the federal government ..."Hey we can regulate ourselves".
