When I see it in the shadow of the enemy it makes me defiant and see my husband in a resentful way. This is exactly what Satan wants.⁠

But if you ask yourself the two questions that I asked you, and ask myself, then dig into the whole context of Ephesians 5 you can truly experience the gift God has given you in your marriage!⁠
