Interest in ethical investment and the number of ethical options available has been rising strongly in recent years but it has not come without its challenges.

The Financial Markets Authority this year warned fund managers about greenwashing and said investment managers were not doing enough to make it easy for Kiwi investors to compare and choose ethical funds.
