My name is Mikee, and I will be walking through what we will be learning today, which is understanding the business model of private labeling on Amazon, what that means, what it means to actually sell your own products on Amazon to be able to have full control over all of that. Starting with myself, this is so far my success, I would say, in Amazon. I'm not a multimillion-dollar seller. There's a lot of other really big sellers out there that help teaching the Amazon business model. For me, I invested 8K initially. That was the summer of 2015, and my net profit from that is right around $15,000. The screen shot is basically I've done $34,000 in sales. I only have 1 product selling, but that’s pretty dang good for 1 product, so I think I'll take it.

First is you want to prequalify that you're in the right place if you're looking to start a business that does require work, you understand that it's going to take work to make this happen, you're looking for a new and consistent income stream. That's initially why I got into learning this business model and teaching myself. You also are looking for a business that can be location-independent. I ship directly from China to Amazon, and then Amazon ships my products directly to my customers for me. I could be anywhere in the world and be able to run my business. That’s the main qualifications that I was really looking for, so that’s the best way that I can help you if you are looking for all of those things.

This is not the right training for you if you don’t have at least an hour a day to invest into this business. It does require that you have time that you set aside every day and really get into it. I'll tell you what you need to do and what you should be doing for that hour. You also really need to have some startup capital, maybe $1,500 minimum, but at least $2,500. Again, I started out, I bought 2,500 units for $8,000. Really, you do need to have some money to get in here, but this is building a real business.

Again, this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time. It's a slow build. A lot of people think, including friends, that you just put a bunch of units in there and send them to Amazon and then they’ll all sell out the first day. You're looking for small consistent sales, so you're looking for 3 to 7 sales a day, depending on how much money you invest into it and how competitive the market. You're looking to then scale that. That’s why you have multiple products doing that. For me, I still have 1 product because I have other business ventures and that’s as far as I got, but I'm happy with my profits and my return on investment.
