Today I had the honor of talking with Bill Benjamin. Bill is one of the current managing partners at Galena Capital which is the only FINRA registered investment bank headquartered in Idaho.

Bill has an extensive background working in financial services. Prior to Galena he has served as a managing director in the investment banking division of Piper Jaffray, the head of branch development for UBS's wealth management department, and was the CEO of US Banks broker dealer and RIA division.

In our conversation today Bill and I talked about all things selling your business. Bill and his partners at Galena spend a lot of their time advising on sell-side M&A transactions. Bill has a lot of unique insights on different factors that business owners should consider when selling their business.
