How to Share Jesus at Easter (Part 2)

Listen Later

In this episode,  Tina Waldrom talks about how to share Jesus at Easter in simple and genuine ways. Rather than putting pressure on yourself to have all the right words, Tina encourages listeners to focus on hospitality—creating warm, welcoming spaces where conversations about faith can happen naturally. Whether it’s hosting a casual meal, inviting a neighbour over for coffee, or being intentional about Easter gatherings, she explains how the environment you create can open doors to talk about Jesus without feeling awkward or forced.

Tina also highlights that effective evangelism during Easter isn’t about preaching to people—it’s about sharing your own journey and letting your life reflect the love of Christ. She gives practical tips for how to start conversations and gently guides them toward deeper meaning, especially during a season when people may be more open to spiritual topics. With a focus on storytelling, kindness, and genuine care for others, this episode is full of helpful encouragement for anyone wondering how to make Easter a time for meaningful faith-sharing.

    Discussion Questions

    1. How can I use the natural openness of Easter to share my faith with the people in my life? Who in your life already knows you're a Christian and may be open to a faith conversation this Easter?

Read: Hebrews 13:16 (NIV) – “Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”

    2. What does Easter hospitality look like in my life, and how can I use it to create space for meaningful conversations? Plan one gathering (coffee, meal, or walk) that intentionally creates space for open-hearted conversation.

Read:  Luke 24:30–31 (NIV) – “When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognised him…”
    3. What barriers—like fear or perfectionism—might be stopping me from sharing my faith this Easter, and how can I overcome them? Write down your top fear and counter it with a truth from scripture.

Read:  2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) – “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
    4. How can I share a personal story of hope or transformation that might connect with someone this Easter? What’s one moment when you experienced the hope of Jesus deeply?

Read: Revelation 12:11 (NIV) – “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”
    5. In what creative ways can I use symbolic elements (like a small cross or a chocolate egg) to spark curiosity and faith conversations? Choose one small gift (e.g. wooden cross, Bible verse card, empty egg) and plan who to give it to this Easter.

Read: Romans 1:20 (NIV) – “For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities… have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…”
    6. How can I intentionally create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the love of Jesus? What makes you feel at ease and welcomed when visiting someone’s space? How can you mirror that to make others feel the same?

Read: 1 Peter 4:9–10 (NIV) – “Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…”
    7. Am I aiming to create converts or disciples—and how does that change the way I share Jesus this Easter? Are your actions and conversations building long-term relationships that lead to discipleship?

Read: Matthew 28:19–20 (NIV) – “Go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
