2 years back, I knew how to enjoy everything in life including the little things because I didn't have a phone and I wasn't aware of that. Suddenly things started to take a turn once I got a phone and fell into the deep hole of social media and easily accessible entertainment. And looking around, I realized everybody was going through the same struggle without even being aware that what social media and excessive use of screens can do to us. The biggest myth of dopamine fasting is that most people say that dopamine fast resets the chemical system in the brain, which is totally false according to research. What it does is, and from my experience is that it opens our eyes to see the truth and makes us realize that we reward ourselves with that hit of dopamine with the help of technology without even accomplishing anything in our lives. Give dopamine detox a try; And I can promise you, it will make you re-think life.
