Welcome back to the Smash system podcast. I’m Nino Prodan. And in this episode, I’m going to continue talking about fear. But I want to get specific today I want to talk about your fear, and what to do about it. See, a lot of the times we have fears that come up and we just push them down, push past them. And when we do that, those fears get suppressed. And when fears are suppressed, they’re still there. And they still haunt us. They still affect us, and we need to deal with them head on, rather than try to suppress them and ignore them. Pretend that they’re not there. Because if we do that, then we can put the fears to rest. I kinda like to compare it to children and temper tantrums. When a kid wants your attention. They’ll buggy for it. They’ll keep bugging you for and you can keep telling them to wait or pushing them away and saying not right now. And if you continue to do that the frustration and the kids going to build up. And at one point, they’re just going to blow up and start throwing a temper tantrum. And that’s what happens with your fear. If you push it away or pretend it’s not there, it’s going to rise up, probably at the point when it’s most inconvenient, or at the point where you’re at the most pressure when you need all your faculties and you need to concentrate, and you’re under stress. And that’s when you’re most susceptible. That’s when you can’t push it down anymore. That’s when you can’t move forward anymore. Because you’re carrying so much baggage at this point that you break, you start to freak out, you start to panic, start to think you can’t do this anymore. And it’s time now to stop doing that to yourself. Let’s start addressing the fears that come up and acknowledge them. Just because you acknowledge a fear doesn’t make it real, but it’s heard and one of the best ways to deal with Especially when you’re initially starting to do this is just to set aside an hour to really dig into your fears. And write them all out, write everything down, get it all out of your brain, your brain likes to hold on to things that aren’t permanent. So write it down, get it out of your brain. And then once you have it all down, start to look at them and see if they’re valid. And if they are valid, look at ways to deal with the problem. And if they’re not valid, there’s something you made up and there’s no backing to it. Start looking at ways to invalidate that fear. Start looking at websites or data that will invalidate that fear. That way you can move forward that way you can focus on the ones that are somewhat valid or are totally valid and start creating solutions for them. Remember, fear is just information. So once we start learning the information that it has to give us, we can start using it to start taking action to start fixing things that are bothering us. And the other thing is writing down all these fears now helps you understand where you can grow, helps you understand where you’ve grown from later on. And if you’re creating a business, it’ll help you understand your future clients if they look like you. Because once you move beyond these fears, sometimes it’s really hard to understand where you came from. And this will create a record for you. So you know, the fears that people go through, you be able to place yourself back in your shoes now so you’ll know how to talk to your future clients. And one more tip about your fears is also understand where the fear comes from. Is it something you’ve generated? Is it something that society has generated for you? Is it something that comes from your family Understand the root of it, because sometimes just knowing that invalidates the fear altogether, I hope you’ve had a valuable week, Nino Prodan and I will talk to you on
