Hello my love, Today I want to dive in on how to stop feeling guilty when you invest money in yourself and pleasure. 

How many times have you used shopping as a therapy?

No worries, you are not raising your hand alone! Been there done that…

There are times in our lives when we use money just to use it. 

And trust me, that is not a good feeling. Who wants to be just used, right?

Yet when we pass that stage of just numbing our feelings with shopping therapy, we get into a new stage of fear and scarcity. 

Feeling guilty when we spend on things that we don’t need it's a big one in a woman's world. 

I remember when I was growing up, my mom always took care of everyone else but her. She would spend money on me, my brother, step-father, friends, fulfill their needs and then maybe with leftovers gave herself something. 

I grew up thinking that to invest in ourselves is selfish and that we have to give in order to get. 

Anyone else?

That creates scarcity and thinking that we can buy ourselves only things we need so we can save up money, and pay bills. 

What I want to invite you today isn’t to go out and spend all your money mindlessly, yet to invest money with intention in things and experiences that bring you joy. 

Invest in the things that make you feel alive and bring life into other peoples’ lives. 

Because when we support life, life supports us. 

Let go of the guilt, let go of the shame, invite in trust and knowingness that when you let your heart and not ego or fear guide you, you will decide correctly.
