Death of a Unicorn is a superficial satire about the ultra-wealthy being the worst parasites. Still, it also has a graphic animal element that improves significantly when it adopts the latter rather than the former. By reducing the cannon fodder with a rising corpse count, the film can tighten its grip on the best performances and aspects as it approaches the conclusion, making it continually laugh-worthy and stronger as it progresses.
