Considering Hollywood is fixated on franchises, I like watching a decent original film. This movie's idea appeals to me, and it builds a lot of tension. Brandon Sklenar and Meghann Fahy both give excellent lead performances. The film has a decent tempo. As is typically the case with Christopher Landon, there are a lot of enjoyable character interactions. The film, which only cost $10 million and was expertly filmed, looks great and demonstrates that Hollywood can produce high-caliber films on a shoestring. Last but not least, the conclusion was really exciting and suspenseful.
