There are just two films that I can reliably refer to as "my favorite": Spinal Tap and Amadeus.

Spinal Tap represents the pinnacle of comedy. Every moment is packed with action, and the humor spans a wide spectrum, from the absurd and overt to clever conversational plays. For instance, there's the performance they did at the Isle of Lucy (a nod to I Love Lucy), or the moment when their manager remarks that Boston isn't a significant college town.

I revisit this film every few years and still discover something new. The music is genuinely crafted, as they are truly performing these songs, and the lyrics are filled with various types of humor.

If you are a musician, this is essential viewing. Even if you're not, you'll still want to check it out.
