"Alternately flippant and sad, Tropper's book is a smart comedy of inappropriate behavior at an inopportune time." (Publishers Weekly)

I just loved this book
I just loved this book. Johnathan Tropper has such a unique perspective on life and love. Sometimes romantic and sometimes cynical, but never crossing into the teritory of cheesy or sappy. The result is a love story like you've never heard before.
I loved this book
I loved this book. I listened to over the weekend while driving and was completely captivated. Mr. Tropper is an excellent writer! At first, the book felt like a bunch of essays, but the plot kicked in by the end. I kept with it because the writing was so good! I will look for other books by Mr. Tropper.
Very entertaining.
This is one of the most entertaining books I've read in a long time. Great character development, extremely well written and full of laugh out loud moments. This was my first Tropper book but won't be my last.
and was terrific. I thoroughly enjoyed it
This was a book club read, and was terrific. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
If you liked the move "This is where I leave you" with Tina Fey Jason Bateman and Jane Fonda
you will really like this book.
Five Stars
Authentic portrayal of grief with humor thrown in.
