As an adult, talking about race can be some of the most difficult conversations we can have. It requires us to recognize our own biases and attitudes in a way that can be unsettling. So, if we are having a tough time with the topic, how should we talk to our children about race? On this edition of UWM Today we’re going to meet a UWM researcher who is trying to answer that question. Erin Winkler is an associate professor of Africology at UWM’s College of Letters and Sciences.
