No one ever taught me about money. Or I didn't know about money. We hear this refrain from young (& old) folks alike - that there was a disconnect between them and having an understanding about handling finances. Let's face it, money isn't something we like to talk about, in fact we'll discuss just about anything else; politics, religion, even sex before we talk about our finances. And your kids learn that behavior as well. Start them young and give them a healthy outlook not only about money, but about handling there finances as well.
