You know how kids will sometimes hurt or upset someone and then laugh? Or act indifferent?   

That scares the crap out of us as parents, doesn't it?   

A lot of parents struggle with teaching empathy.  

No matter how much we explain why we should be nice and gentle...our kids do not care at all.
