Telling a story is the fundamental way in which we connect with others. Throughout history, we have been a people of stories. To underestimate the power of storytelling is to neglect the very reason we as creatives make art. In the medium of photography we don’t often get the opportunity to elaborate in great detail a written story, nor do we get the luxury of moving images to piece together a moment by moment play through. Photographers get to capture only one single frame of time, and learning how to create an impactful story with such limited resources will elevate your work far beyond any technique will.
