Second, isappointment can cause an identity crisis, as we love to connect our identity to our experiences - both good and bad. 

Thriving in disappointment is learning to live within the disappointment and seeing the present as our thriving space. 

Thriving is not a destination we look towards, but rather, a current possibility.
