James 2:8-10, 8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. 9 But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers.10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. In this sermon, we look at what James has to say about "How to Treat People Right." Your biggest problems and mine are people problems – getting along with other people. "To dwell above with those you love, that will be a glory. But to dwell below, with those we know, that's another story." James talks about "How do you get along with people? He gives us the principle, the problem, and the application in James 2:1-13. James says there are three problems with favouritism: 1) Favouritism is unchristian, 2) Favoritism is unreasonable, 3) Favoritism is unloving! We should accept everybody, appreciate everybody, and affirm everybody.
