DeShonda Monique Jennings is an author, parent advocate, youth advocate and family childcare business owner.  She is the epitome of what a strong wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and woman of faith is. She is the founder of DJ It Takes A Village LLC.  She’s the youngest daughter of Inell and the late Charlie Hite. She grew up in a small rural town of Kenbridge, VA. DeShonda has over 20 years’ experience in childcare.  She is currently furthering her education in Early Childhood and Teacher Education.
