How To Use Empathy To Not Get Angry

One of my strengths (that's not exactly a long list) is my ability to not stress or get angry when in stressful situations. I can usually maintain a level of calm even when most people would crack.

I suspect a large part of that is because I try to use empathy to see things from another perspective.

It doesn't mean the other person is automatically right or that I am agreeing with them. It just means that I am trying to use empathy to keep my own emotions in check, and to help me feel calm and balanced.

Here are my thoughts on using empathy to overcome anger and get past fears.
