Some years ago, I took a bunch of pills and almost called it quits.
I made it to a hospital and as a result, I'm here talking to you today.
At that time I had to J.U.M.P. and no, I don't mean the physical act of jumping. I had to put in the work.
I mean I could have grabbed a rope, felt good FOR THE MOMENT, but I wouldn't have solved any of my issues. It would be equivalent to sweeping the issues under the rug.
Holding on to unresolved issues will keep you stuck and in mental/emotional bondage.
Staying in this kind of bondage will keep you stuck in habits that are not conducive to your weight loss/fitness/wellness goals.
Work on your mind and the body will follow.
I'm not discounting jump rope and/or exercise. It's great maintain but you gotta deal with those deep rooted issues.
