You would have to be a fascist to oppose voting rights, right? Everybody should be able to vote. Or should they? We look under the hood of the voting rights bill that was very narrowly defeated in Congress last week. If enacted into law, it would have instituted sweeping changes in who could vote in federal elections and how they could cast their ballots. But those changes would have made our elections much less secure than even the worst state elections held in 2020.
