Overview: To be serious about your calling as a Christian, you need to be serious about Christian community. If all Christians are in Christ, that automatically brings us together, objectively, in fellowship society. We have the same hope, the same inheritance, the same Saviour. Jesus' accomplishments at Calvary bring peace between people of all different walks of life. Men and women, slaves and free, there is no division between God's people. As God draws all of His people into eternal glory and unity, not a single division on earth will dim our eternal unity. This is because we are one in Christ, we live as one in Christ now. This requires patience, bearing with each other. This takes growth, deliberate growth. When we do this, we glorify God, even when we can't understand how.
